Executive Mayor, Alderwoman MP Nkosi launches 1‑mega liters Everest Park tank and pump station to boost Ward 1 water supply.
4 August 2026, Everest Park - We continue to invest in infrastructure that responds to the needs of our communities. This was evident when our Executive Mayor, Alderwoman M.P. Nkosi, officially handed over the Everest Park Water Infrastructure Project to the appointed contractor on Tuesday, 4 August 2026, marking the start of the project.
Located in Ward 1, the project includes the installation of a 1 megalitre steel elevated water tank and the construction of a booster pump station.
The new infrastructure will support the water system in the area and contribute to improved water supply for the community.
