Mayor Nkosi Drives Water Access Push in Davidalle

Davidalle, 7 August 2026 - Executive Mayor Alderwoman M.P. Nkosi led the handover of two borehole projects in Davidalle, Ward 12, near Lothair, on Friday, 7 August 2026, marking another step towards improved water access for residents.

She officially introduced the appointed contractor and engaged residents on the project.

The Executive mayor was accompanied by Municipal Manager Mr M. Kunene, councillors and municipal officials, and was welcomed to the area by traditional leaders before proceeding with the day’s programme.

These borehole projects will strengthen water availability and improve the reliability of water supply for residents in Davidalle. It forms part of our ongoing efforts to address water challenges and expand access to essential basic services.

The community engagement also formed part of Women’s Month activities, during which Mayor Nkosi handed over blankets to senior women citizens in the community in recognition and appreciation.
